I’m Mo. I’m a creative at heart and always will be. This has led me to experience some wonderful things in many different career paths. After graduating with a BA in Speech Pathology from Loyola College, I spent a year in Maryland teaching a small group of children with severe communication challenges – a transformative experience that inspired me to write Solitary Genius. I then headed to New York City and never left. I spent nearly a decade working in casting for the film industry and during that time I also worked in antiques, interior design, real estate and finance, among other things. I’m the fourth of 10 children and live downtown with my pup. I’m currently writing a screenplay tentatively titled, The Donut Shop.
