I’m Mo. I’m a creative at heart and always will be.  This has led me to experience some wonderful things in many different career paths.  After graduating with a BA in Speech Pathology from Loyola College, I spent a year in Maryland teaching a small group of children with severe communication challenges – a transformative experience that inspired me to write Solitary Genius.  I then headed to New York City and never left. I spent nearly a decade working in casting for the film industry and during that time I also worked in antiques, interior design, real estate and finance, among other things. These experiences inspired my second book, The Intuitive Track. I’m the fourth of 10 children and live downtown with my husband, little boy, and pup Cooper.  I’m currently writing a screenplay tentatively titled, The Donut Shop.
